My ASBA Wish List - What I need to grow my business...

If you could have a wish list  for your business - things that would make a real difference - what would be on it?

Topping my wish list for ASBA is to have more Arizona businesses Connect with us to Grow.  The more members we have, the more potential for valuable business connections, the more opportunities to access great programs and services, the more we ALL benefit.

The ASBA Board of Directors and Staff  are always looking for ways to make your ASBA experience more valuabe.

ASBA (the Arizona Small Business Association) is a connected community of businesses working together across the state of Arizona.  We all come together with different needs and from different places.  We connect each other to the people, businesses, information, education, and resources (including Healtcare, SCF Safety Training, and cost saving ASBA Advantages.) http://www.asba.com

Here is your chance to use the ASBA Blog and let us know what you want and need for your business.  Are there more things ASBA can do to help you find more opportunities and more savings?

We’re asking, please let us know.  Just click ‘comment’ and join in the conversation.

I wanted to let people know how much ASBA helped my family, in an emergency situation: healthcare.

My husband retired with supplementary benefits from Raytheon, and they were withdrawn abruptly last year.

After attending an ASBA fair, we were able to reinstate our Vision Care at half the cost with twice the benefits! Always wondered if big companies purchased different levels of care - they do.

My eligibility for a SEP will come in handy for offsets as he moves toward 72 and must take back saved income. Small business people need more support than ever, and we may have a real edge in this case!

A lot of people don't realize that ASBA is the only statewide membership based organization that develops many of it's programs and offerings based on member feedback and interest.

It's not unusual for members to come to us with an idea to form a community or offer an education or information outlet and we support and encourage them to run with it.

Check out T.I.M.E., The HR Roundtable, Home Based Business Council and our countless list of workshops and classes. All member driven.

In other words, its our members that drive what we do which, in the end, makes ASBA more relevant to the needs of our membership and the Arizona business community.

When ASBA says, "How can we help you grow?" we listen and really mean it.

There are so many great member programs at ASBA - I suggest picking one at a time and working it to the benefit of your business. The next main area for us is affordable healthcare. What's yours?
